Emceeing/Keynote Speeches/Moderating

Barbara Brown can ask the insightful questions, motivate your team, or simply facilitate conversation. (Plus, she’s funny.) One of her keynote speeches – Living Your Life Intentionally – was awarded First Place by the National Federation of Press Women, with an additional First Place awarded by Alaska Press Women.

Barbara has also performed as a storyteller.  Her most recent incarnation:  a storyteller from Chelm, the fabled shtetl of fools.  This occasionally takes place with the accompaniment of a klezmer band….

Leadership Training

Barbara was the Director of Leadership Anchorage, an award-winning community leadership development program under the auspices of the Alaska Humanities Forum, for six years.  She has extensive experience in offering leadership training as well as assistance in the creation of mentorship programs for various clients (from the Alaska Seafood Processing Leadership Institute to Anchorage Youth Court).
